Voices from Overseas Institutions
    Excellent - all good.
Perhaps the students can be asked to rate their experience also?
The second day is less overloaded.
    - Scheduling system changes are difficult to track;
    - Many good students don't upload info/docs before the workshop week.
    - Students should have more chance to review research topics (internal issue).
    Sunday: show up percentage low.
Consider adding a second tier city
Signage on tables to show institution / country. Students are confused and some want to shop around which is harder if they don't know which tables are who.
Quite noisy: communication sometimes difficut with students.
Astronomy is a small field, so not many candidates.
    Organization great.
Holland House not appropriate for top students I think.
    fewer students than last year.
This year the number of candidates has been reduced.
It seems the makrting of the event this year has been decreased this year.
    - It might be good to have 2 full days in Beijing and 1 full day in Shanghai since we need too many candidates to meet and not enough time.;
This was my first time and so had no idea what to expect. Perhaps 20 mins is too long-meetings. So difficult to stick to the schedule.
Many visitors and requests for interviews that were not in the right field, but those who I interviewed were good/ok, just not a very good match.
The WIFI was not so good on Nov. 23, but worked better the next day.
    Need better wifi !
The Sunday seminars seem less popular.
The room was very hot on sunday.
It would be better. In the online system would cwould close earlier, so we could bring the CVs in advance.
Consider skipping Sunday completly and have one hour more on Saturday.
Less candidiates less quality and large percentage no-show on Sunday.
Close system earlier so both candidates and delegates have more time to prepare for the interview.
Sunday candidates are of lesser quality that Saturday candidates and considerable no-show.
Excellent work by Fairlink as usual!
Great new venue and thank you again for all of your excellent ork in organizign this event.
Everything is really well organized. I would like to ask you to offer more vegetarian options at the cocktail and lunch.
1, Need to provide better laptops for the presentation.
2, Internet access was not too faster.
    - Power board is needed at table;
    - Extra chair is appreciated.
    - Well organized. Thank you.
    Very nice venue.
    Much improved from previous years.
    Need more coffee stations!
Should provide coffee right before afternoon sesson.
    More tea options.
Sunday is very quiet. Do we really need the second day?
1, We are greatly surprised by the small number of students on the second day even though we are used to have less on second day in previous years.
2, It was strange to see that some students on i-Schedule for Beijing were also on the list for Shanghai?
3, As usual, the services provided was excellent.
    Poor wifi.
Saturday was very full and air in meeting room not good + too noisy.
Especially the noise was causing difficulties to hear the candididates.
    Too noisy Saturday.
This year we have many no-show on Sunday.
Need coffee during the entire meeting.
Very well organized, good catering and facilities.
All students on Saturday, and many no-show on Sunday.
    Well organized. Great students pool.
    1, Provide support for receipt of university materials through customs;
2, More gluten free options for snacks during breaks (other than or in addition to fruit). Thanks!
    A VERY POSITIVE FIRST EXPERIENCE.
Thank you for organizing this excellent event!
I will recommend it to colleagues. It is a very good event and I am impressed with the quality of candidates.
    better lunch in Shanghai.
Please imporve the lunch (brown brean, soup, fruit\apples).
    Food was not very good.
Better internet - could not connect in Jasmine room.
    Better coffee / food.
    Better location than Beijing!
There was only little space behind my chair and people disturbed the clectricity connection by walking between tables.
    Excellent as always!
Good to organize a full day in Shanghai and 1.5 day in Beijing.
Not enough space for University of Melbourne table (students left because they couldn't get to us)
    Very poor WIFI.
    Lunch was awful.
Every year in Shanghai it is hard to have schedule agenda in advance. Studnets seems not tob e ready to register.
Also, I would consider to come back to the old schedule (12-17h) Adding 2 hours before lunch and a lunch period was not relevant.
    Lack of food at lunch!
Fixed vs Open, appointment is confusion to many students who keep showing off thinking they have an appointment when they do not.
Lunch in Okura Hotel needs improvement.
I invited several studnets for a meeting but did not get a response. Not sure why, possibly because they were not interested in CSC fellowship.
The venue of PhD Workshop could be expanded to other regional center cities eg Wuhan, Xi'an and Guangdong.
Overall good but catering was below expectations.
Quality of candidates much less than in Beijing.
Also high percentage no-show or too late in Shanghai.
The lunch was not good. It would be good to have a vegetarian option.
We felt the quality of the students in Shanghai was slightly less than in Beijing.
    Better lunch please!.
    Internet was better in Shanghai.
1, The internet is very slow, which slows the comunication with candidates.
2, The lunch for delegates was terrible.
Most candidates don't have the basic information about the CSC scholarship, dont' know the website - you cold infrome them better so the expections are better met.
    Poor food!
The candidates show-up just not at their scheduled time.
    Lunch can be improved.
    9am - 3pm or 4pm is much better.
    Excellent workshop as well!
Lunch was not good. Need more substantial food like Beijing.
Total number is a bit low. Can you advertise to do any thing about this?
    9am - 3pm woudl be better.
    Should be 9am - 3pm
I thought the lunch was not great. Much better in Beijing.
    WIFI problem.
    9am - 3pm.
    Should be 9-3pm in Shanghai.
    Excellent experience. Thank you.
The intrview room is the way better compared to Beijing but the hotel is not.
Hotel too expensive for what is offered!!!
    Insufficient lunch.
I stayed at different hotel because this hotel is not good for the money.
    Thank you!
Lunch wasn't good compared to BJ.
    Too expensive to attend.
    Lunch in Shanghai was sub-standard.
    WIFI in Shanghai barely functional.
Beijing fine. Too expensive for ROI.
1, Lunch is too simple and cold, can be improved.
2, Cold with table at the gate.
    Well organized. Thank you.
    Registration fee too high.
Lunch in Shanghai not appetising - bread day. Better in Beijing
Banners / identification for each table to facilitate students.
Registration fee too high. Lunch in Shanghai not enough, sandwidges too dry. Better in Beijing.
    Lunch can be improved.
